• Maverick House • Downtown Siloam Springs, hotel in Siloam Springs

• Maverick House • Downtown Siloam Springs is located in Siloam Springs, just 25 miles from Arkansas Missouri Railroad and 29 miles from Peel Mansion and Historic Gardens.

Such a cute and cozy home. It was really like home away from home. House was very clean and looked exactly like pictures. Everything was neatly organized also. I was surprised to find a highchair and pack in play, which came in handy for our 1 year old. Comfortable beds. Felt safe in the neighborhood and wasn't far from all the restaurants and shopping areas. Loved how it has a fenced in back yard that was grassy..the kids loved playing and running around. Definitely would stay again if we are ever back in the area

The staff was exceptional. We asked for garbage bags to use for a tour because it was raining, and we had no rain gear. They were very accommodating. We also made arrangements to stay an additional day due to inclement weather conditions. The staff was accommodating.

Siloam Springs was a nice town.

Siloam Springs was a nice town. It was small but had a full array of eating establishments and services (hair salons, etc...). It was also very picturesque and offered nice hiking, biking and even kayaking trails. The only issue I had was that it was a little windy but I don't think the town had any control of that! ha ha

I was unable to reach anyone at the front desk for 5 hours overnight when my room key stopped working. I waited in my car overnight to get let back in. I called the number, I emailed the property, no response from anyone. The water would not stay one consistent temperature, preventing me from using the shower. It was scalding hot or cold. I informed Mike Patel the owner, who told me he wasn't moving the room, and then used profanities with me when I asked for a refund.

Small town atmosphere. Lots of traffic at work hours.

Small town atmosphere. Lots of traffic at work hours. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Overall I like the town. It's not hard to find your way around. The Illinois River is really nice to swim in.

We were there visiting our granddaughter in college.

We were there visiting our granddaughter in college. I would say maybe a few more restaurants and some small specialty shops. Gives you something to do while visiting. Family places, bowling, mini golf. I would say Braums was the best place we went to for lunch. Then had ice cream for dessert!
